All at once the moonlight and the madness in your eyes,
Overthrew the magic possessed inside,
The walls began to crumble and the earth blew open wide,
Roots of hellish evil shot through the sky,

Chasing each other's shadows in this never ending battle,

The havoc that you wreaked they saw below,
A giant now before them they knew their lives were at an end,

The fire that surrounded you licked your skin in slow torment,
The smell of burning flesh your bitter end,
We watched with great desire the closing curtain of a beast,
The final shred of darkness a hope for peace,

In our world of shadows and this never ending battle,
